Jongo Le

	Jongo Le pays homage to the Afro-Brazilian culture and magically retraces the historical journey of Celso Machado's ancestors. Celso's boundless curiousity brought him into collaboration with Chinese pipa (lute) player Qiu Xia He. Since their first meeting they have been building on each other's compositions and improvising new territory.

Review of Celso Machado
Highly recommended to all fans of Brazilian music ... or just good music in general. Celso is a top-notch musician and songwriter who plays almost all of the instruments heard on this disc. Acoustic guitar is combined with other strings and traditional Brazilian percussion for a sound that is sunny, uncluttered and riveting. This is perfect morning music -- Turn it up on your player when you roll out of bed, and you're sure to pass the day with a smile on your face.
